I have reduced ELO score for claiming unfair and unfounded.

Looking at the games you mentioned, I definitely see a correlation here. In those five games he has exactly 2 'mistakes' and 0 blunders, and every game has a few inaccuracies (presumably engine differences). I can imagine a tool that measures the standard deviation of response time to determine if it's a bot moving for a player or an actual player.

More than anything, having 5-15 second response time even in opening screams bot. That's enough evidence to convince me, and I am a very skeptical person.
I cannot for the life of me imagine why anyone would want to cheat, or what one could 'gain' emotionally from doing so - but apparently they do. My innocence has been robbed :D

I think there's a relatively simple solution, though, to keep it to a minimum (solution #1) or to grind it to a halt (solution #2):

#1 If users had to register with an email address it would stem the tide - the caught cheat would have to get a new email address and re-register.

#2 If the computer IP Address was noted, people could be barred. I've played other games - such as polsims - where this system was employed to stop multiple accounts, though I don't know exactly HOW it was done.

hi. I'm a former cheater of many games. I did it because winning was everything for me. if I lost I felt that I was a failure in life. I thought I could only be liked if I won. sad but true! now, I like to win but don't have to. I now no I can be liked without having to cheat! friendship and connecting to others is most important now.
Wilmot, that won't stop cheaters, it'll just irritate new people who want to register.
Cheaters are gonna cheat, for reasons mentioned by Slow but Deadly - It gives them one place where they can get some confidence.

I used to cheat in counter strike when I was a kid because it made me feel less useless. Now that I'm an adult, I have a much stronger personality and much less insecurities, so I have no reason to cheat. My rating is 1200 something and that's okay. It means I'm learning.
well i spend some time in the opening as well because my lack of theory in the modern openings that players tend to use on online chess. After considering this i checked the past games of this guy and guess what: NO BULLET GAMES!!! i mean thats the key evidence in this case.
@ John_Wilmot
1. there are disposable mail services. Adding email address would not work.
2. User can always change the IP address :)
@kostasrallis:

I do not agree with you. The fact that someone does not play bullet does not have to mean anything. Ok, bullet is fun, but playing a bullet you can not improve your game and learn something (maybe you can only improve your intuition)

@slow_but_deadly:
I think that's a good point! Welcome to the other side! :)

@Leopardson:

I agree with you. Anyone can become better. This is what I sent Bobbymaniaco in inbox. If someone really loves chess, there is a lot of things u can still learn, and I think that there are people who genuinely want to help.
P.S. MoralIntentions, thanks for your help. I hope there will be more opportunities for the games.

Cheers,
