Opening puzzles' ratings

Can you give couple points per move you get right instead of getting 7 overall and losing 16 if you get one wrong? The -16 after getting one move really makes me mad. Can you instead subtract a couple points?

If not, that's fine. I can live with that. Thanks!
Who cares about ratings? Personally i would find more useful if lichess showed how popular each move was.
This way I could also learn what are the strongest moves in each opening.
I kind of care about ratings, but like I said, I can live with what they have now.

Can you explain what you mean by "showed how popular each move was" ?
I don't think getting points for finding part of the correct path is a good idea. In a real game messing up a mate sequence wouldn't earn any partial credit.

#4 The suggestion is if I understand it correctly referring to having the puzzle keep a record of the moves people try to make to solve the puzzle and then display the most common mistakes to everyone.
#4 I think he meant that it would be cool to be able to see how many times a specific move/sequence of moves has been played before on lichess or maybe they could use a database from masters games. I think that would be a very helpful and interesting feature, and it would be cool to have a win/draw/lose rate from the games where this move was played/where this position raised.
