no more rated games

Hi there,

since about yesterday I can't see but casual game offers. If I open a rated game myself, no one ever joins. Is this because I'm playing ten rated correspondence games? I didn't find any information on there being a limit.

Thanks
M
Yeah, there's a "! This player uses chess computer assistance" warning on your profile.

I dunno if you stop using an engine on the casual games you'll play from now on, lichess' staff might reconsider removing that warning(It happens on another site I'm a member of). Or you can simply close your current account and open another one, but please don't use engines, otherwise it might be caught for cheating again.
Ah.
Thanks for the quick replies.
Some more questions then:

- I can't see that warning, where is it? Shouldn't I have been notified or something?

@staff:
- Which game am I supposed to have been cheating on?
- Can you please undo that status change? I never cheated and I don't plan on doing so.

Anyway, I'm flattered. :)

Regards
M
#4 You are not supposed to see any warning nor receive notifications.
You have now been unmarked from the cheating status and you are free to play rated games again.

Really now-a-days lichess also took away the cheater tag??? Never saw it before!
Why is it that cheaters dont see it? Asking because this example shows well why it would be good if they do.

Also, this dude was seemingly accused on a wrong base and he doesnt even get a sorry?
The same thing happened to me even though I didn't do anything wrong.
@#5: Thanks a lot!

I can see how I might have raised the suspicion of some algorithm. I play chess all day long but only on rare occasions I do so seriously. Then again in correspondence I spent a lot of time analyzing. So my performance fluctuates wildly. Also I'm working a book on the Italian, and if someone gets into a variant I just happened to read about, they might find me playing a perfect game.
#9 People play book lines all the time, that shouldn't be what gets you marked. There is a wide number of factors that makes the system excellent, but we are here to monitor the mistakes too.

Best regards, enjoy your stay on lichess.
