Please get rid of this black background!! I can't stand it! I appreciate a lot of the new changes you have introduced, like the computer analysis, but this one is terrible!
MNM, click on the yin-yang image to the right of your name (on the top right of your screen) and it will become normal again.

I am often on a black background, it feels like it cuts down on glare. I look at my TV with the lights out. It helps me focus on the image. So, maybe I use the black background to help me concentrate more on the green/white chessboard.
Suggestion 1: The yin-yang icon could become a button used for window themes, which would cycle through a dozen backgrounds (warm colored shades).
Suggestion 2: Even better, the button could be used to open a window to personalize the background scheme using a RGB colorpicker and the chessboard could have a colormixer.
