Is anybody facing similar problem, that computer analysis is available if game is played "from the list", but analysis is not available if challenging a friend (by using challenge function).
when you challenge a friend, use the "Standard" mode and not the "FEN" mode. Then you will have analysis.
I'm working on making the FEN games analyzable, too. But I can't predict when it will be ready.
Thibault, could you please check why this game is missing "request computer analysis" http://en.lichess.org/ubmglxff
It's was played in a Standard mode (as we can see in game log castling was available), but still analysis is not available.

Found a workaround for this problem, you can import game's PGN file and then analyse that game.
I also have a similar problem and can't figure out why I can't analyze this game http://en.lichess.org/analyse/bk6elnmb/black
It seems to me that the problem is that you can't analyse the game, unless you have a result (even putting a random one on between the brackets in the "Result" entry in the pgn text (For example 0-1) works perfectly), hopefully this will help.
By the way, thanks Thibault, you are the reason why internet is such a wonderful place!

The bug has been fixed 2 months ago, you can now analyse any game, provided that the initial position makes sense to the stockfish engine.
Hey Thibault, actually I had this problem 20 minutes ago, which I was able to solve by putting a result in the imported game, obviously very easy to do and not a problem to me....but just to let you know!
Thanks,
Nicola
