Want to make sure that no matches are arranged with people already known to use computer assistance

After playing about 40 moves with an opponent, I finally clicked on it to examine the record - and I saw that the opponent was flagged as being an engine cheater. I wouldn't have known this if I hadn't drilled down.

I think that anybody who has an ongoing game with an engine cheater should be informed right away so that we have the option of terminating the game immediately.
You are talking about a correspondence game, right?

In that case, I assume that your opponent's account was not yet marked when you started the game. Getting marked as a cheater does not cancel/abort games already started.

However if it is a rated game, the outcome will not change your rating when the opponent's account is marked by the end of the game, as far as I know. So if the game is still active, you should be able to resign without losing rating, if you do not wish to continue the game.
Yes, I understand the points you are raising, I agree. All I am saying is that there should be an immediate notification.

I wouldn't have been aware of the situation had I not drilled down on the opponents' record somewhere around move 40 when I suspected that he was playing like a computer.
I also got labeled with "this player uses computer chess assistance". How should I deal with it? I play chess on my laptop and when I checked my profile I suddenly saw this label on it. What should I do?
@AcademicNinja99 I already send them a message and I got a reply from them saying that it was a false flagging. But when I look in my profile on my cellphone, the label is still there. What should I do now?
#6 Send new message to Lichess, asking politely to remove the label.
@Zeronexz

Yeah you should probably send them another message, if the flag was false then there is no reason why it should still be there.
@Zeronexz If you want to remove the tag you have to upgrade to Lichess Premium™ Version for 4,99€.
