Puzzle Storm algorithm

Has anyone noticed that the Puzzle Storm algorithm underwent changes in the last week or two? The puzzles now increase in difficulty more quickly than before (or so it seems to me), and even by the second or third puzzle, you may encounter one that requires 3-4 moves. Now, the one-move back-rank checkmate puzzles have become quite rare.

I haven't paid much attention to this, but I'm curious if anyone else has observed these modifications. Could the algorithm be related to a specific player experience? Perhaps this is because, in regular puzzles, I have already surpassed the 2000 level for quite some time.
@Jazzzed, I cannot confirm exactly the same effect that you found out but what I always see is the following: Puzzle storm starts with a relatively easy puzzle ( with a low rating) but then submits puzzles with a steadily increasing rating.
The point is, that the rating of the first puzzle is not always the same, according to what I saw it is within
a range of let's say [900 - 1050].
And here comes my point: For an experienced chess player who is let's say able to easily solve 1500-rated puzzles
it does not make a difference whether the first puzzle comes with 900 or 1050. For a beginner like me ( I think
I can easily solve puzzles below 1100) however this makes a big difference; depending on the rating of the first
puzzle my result is either above 10 solved puzzles or below 5, so my result does mainly depend on coincidence and
less on my skills.
PS: Of course do I understand Lichess' dilemma: If they would shrink the rating range of the first puzzle in a row
(let's say to [900 - 950]) this would reduce the variety and would lead to the effect that often the same puzzles
are being presented.
