Chess OTB vs Online

Over the board
Are you finding fun playing more chess over the board casually at home, or are you a bigger fan of online?

I have learned that although I do learn a ton playing chess online, I really enjoy over the board (OTB) games the most. I've built up my OTB time to at least 7 games per week now and I'm enjoying finding partners. And that's the con and the hard part about OTB at home (rather than at the chess club); you have to work to find a partner at your level. I don't know what the chess masters did before online communities of players with chess engine analysis existed! After all Bobby Fischer could'nt jump on Lichess.org and play someone close to his level back in his day - but GM Hikaru N. does it all the time now!

Do you prefer casual OTB to online chess? What are the pros and cons of each in your opinion? Share with us!

Happy Checkmating,
